CLOUD HANGER & JEWLS DISPLAY

I got a little treat from e-Bay the other day and it's a special one cause I actually saved some bucks on this one. And I love me a good deal! (─‿‿─) Originally I found it on PerpetualKid.com for around 8-9$ if I remember well, but ended up buying it from e-Bay for 0.99$! ლ(╹◡╹ლ)

I needed some hooks to display my necklaces since my washi tape that I had them taped up wth before wasn't holding them very well and it wasn't really practical to tape them on and off all the time.  But holding my jewlls in the drawer was even worse. I don't know how estetically pleasing this in general is but it's super convenient and kinda cute.  Viola!

CRIMSON PEAK & GOTHIC ROMANCE

Movie poster edited with Picmonkey (not to be too serious)

I am TOTALLY blown away by del Toro's Crimson Peak that I saw yesterday and totally feel in love with. Crimson Peak is a movie about a young Victorian woman falling in love with a mysterious stranger who takes her to his spooky Gothic mansion. And the house is honestly the best part of the movie! It reminds me a bit of Hitchcock's Rebbecca and I loved that one as well.

Anyway, apparently there's a thing called "Gothic romance film" that Wikpedia defines as "Gothic film with famine appeal". I didn't even know there's a Gothic film in the first place. (⊙_◎) But now that I do, it's calling for a movie marathon ≖‿≖ ...

Brrrr.... Can't wait! (。♥‿♥。) xo

MY VICTORIAN HOME

Well, more like my imaginary Victorian home. Or my FUTURE Victorian home, as I like to call it. ◕ ◡ ◕

If something makes me happy, it's Victoriana. I lived for two years surrounded with my absolute number one favorite architectural style and ever since I dream of having one old cute house for myself as well. Those might be just dreams, but well... Even just writing about it makes me happy. (▰˘◡˘▰)

Plus, I recently discovered the Rehab Addict TV show and I was SO excited since the show is all about restoration of old homes (or as the host likes to say it, about saving them)! Even if the final decoration is maybe too plain for my style, the show really gave me some insight of how to approach the restoration.

I'd love to modernise my Victorian home and make it more eclectic, live and vibrant!

With a little bit of country....

In the end, it really doesn't have to be over styled to be perfect.

It has to feel cosy and homey, like this last one that makes me feel as if I've lived there for years. Maybe I'm seeing into future.  (◕‿-) Bye, bye everybody!
